MyDigital ID is a platform for digital identity verification created for online security and efficiency.
Registration Steps
Online Registration
As a preparation step, have your MyKad ready and download and install the MyDigital ID app on your smartphone
Online Registration
Click 'Register Online' on MyDigital ID, enter your email, input OTP, and provide your name and identification number.
Verify Your Identity
Capture photos of your MyKad (front and back), and complete a facial scan.
Set Your Password
Create a minimum of 8-character password and confirm it.
Registration Successful
Your digital identity is now securely stored in the MyDigital ID app.
Kiosk Registration
Cancellation of MyDigital ID Certificate
Revocation via Online. Revocation can also be done physically at the nearest kiosk.
Use a Smartphone
Use a smartphone belonging to a friend or family member with the MyDigital ID app installed.
Access the Menu
Open the MyDigital ID app, click Menu, and select Cancel Digital ID.
Enter Personal Details
Provide your full name and MyKad number (without any dashes).
Complete eKYC Verification
Verify your identity through the eKYC process.
Cancellation Successful
Once the process is complete, your certificate is successfully cancelled. You can now re-register MyDigital ID on your new smartphone.
